Dark Souls 3 is out in Japan, which means it’s fairly reasonable for there to be an accompanying launch trailer. The featured NPC dialogue is actually in English (with Japanese subtitles), so this is presumably going to be the international trailer too.
It’s starts with a bit of an original Dark Souls flashback, with the monologue about the appearance of fire, then moves on to all-new stuff. That includes environments, NPC chatter, and bosses. So if you want to go into Dark Souls 3 entirely fresh I’d suggest not actually watching this.
For those who do … well, there sure is some stuff in this trailer, eh?
Dark Souls 3 will be released on PC (in the west) on 12 April.
