Dead Block invites you to kill zombies with a sunbed

I know, I know, zombie fatigue is hitting videogame buyers pretty hard. But look, Dead Block lets you play as a chubby boyscout who microwaves the undead. That can’t be all bad, right?
Other methods for dispatching those pesky zombs include frying them in a doorway-mounted sunbed so their skin becomes wizened and vulnerable to attack. Then there’s my favourite, the trap that just drops boxes with human faces drawn on them, confusing the shambling hordes into attacking one another.
Watch more of this loonacy in the ‘Elimination Methods’ trailer, below.
Dead Block will be available through Xbox LIVE from 6 July, priced at 800 MS Points ($10 USD). It’ll appear on PlayStation Network a touch later, 20 July, for the same price. I swear this was announced for the PC as well, but there’s no word of a release date on that platform. Keep your eye on Steam, I guess.
