Dead By Daylight Tome II Reckoning

Things are about to get a whole lot more interesting in the world of Dead by Daylight. The developers at Behaviour Interactive have detailed the latest update coming to the survival horror game. Titled “Tome II,” it will feature an assortment of new challenges for players to overcome.

Can you survive The Reckoning?

With the Tome II update, players will be able to follow a series of new background stories that tie in with each of their characters. They’ll also have the option to unlock additional outfits. Charms will also be on hand for four of the game’s characters, including the Doctor, the Spirit, Jane Romero, and David King.

The Dead by Daylight community will also get in on the action with this update. These include a collection of items put together by them, such as additional outfits for the Clown and Feng Min. If you prefer something Lunar New Year-oriented, there’s a Jake Park costume, along with a handful of new charms.

And if you’ve been waiting to gain access to Tomes you visited in the past, you’re in luck. The update also adds the Compendium, which gives everyone access to these right off the bat.

For those interested in buying Dead by Daylight goods, there’s also a sale going on. From now through Jan. 28, all Tome II characters are slashed in price by 30 percent. In addition, those of you with a good stock of Auric Cells can drop 1,000 of them on a new Rift, which is available now.

If you don’t have Dead by Daylight yet, it’s available on Steam now. There’s currently a trial where you can enjoy the game for free over the next three days, through Jan. 25. If you just want to add it to your Steam library, it’s currently on sale for just $7.99.
