Dead Island ships over 3 million


Since its launch in September, Dead Island has shipped over three million copies worldwide.
The co-op zombie-based RPG from Polish developer Techland received decidely mixed reviews upon release, while various game breaking bugs ruined the PC release for many players.
Still, in its first week on release, it managed to ship over one million units in North America. Two million were shipped worldwide in two week worldwide.
Our own 7/10 review for Dead Island described it as a “B-game” and “despite its numerous flaws, Dead Island is entertaining enough to see through to the end.”
