A few details on Dead Space 2 have emerged from an employment notice on LinkedIn.The details (spotted, as usual, by industry sleuth superannuation) don’t give us too much to go on, but the post is for a “lead combat designer for the Dead Space franchise on Xbox360 and PS3,” which involves – amongst other things – sorting out combat moves and arenas, the feel of the fighting, and so on and so forth.It’s the company description below that yields a bit more information. “This M-rated action/shooter sequel will set new standards for an action-packed story-driven console experience,” apparently, which is about what we’d expect, but the description continues.”The game is in the later stages of pre-production, ready for production in the next few months, with many of the navigational and combat mechanics in place.
