Deliver Us Mars Release Date Delayed Until 2023

Deliver Us Mars is the sequel to the award-winning Deliver Us Moon, which was released back in 2018. However, while Deliver Us Mars was originally set to launch on September 27, the developers have just announced its delay. The sci-fi adventure is expected to be full to the brim with action and suspense.

The story on Mars takes place a decade after the first game. We follow the adventures of astronaut Kathy Johannson who’s responding to a distress call from Mars. The human race is under threat, and Kathy and the Zephyr crew have to recover ARK colony ships stolen from the Outward. Throughout the process, developers have kept fans in the loop with the release of developer diaries. This gives us a further insight into the narrative, which will have a personal touch about a father and child.

Deliver Us Mars delayed until early next year

The news of Deliver Us Mars’ delay came via a statement on Twitter, which describes the title as KeokeN Interactive’s “most ambitious project to date.” However, the team notes that it’s important to them that the game is in the best possible state at launch, prompting the delay. Deliver Us Mars will now release on February 2, 2023. It promises plenty of challenges, hostile environments, and mysteries to discover.

Despite the delay of Deliver Us Mars, KeokeN Interactive promises we haven’t seen the last of the game, with a new look at the game coming very soon. In just a few days, we will be treated to a new trailer. This will make its debut at the Future Games Show at Gamescom on August 24.

If you want to pick up Deliver Us Mars when it officially releases on February 2, its available to pre-purchase on Steam. Placing a pre-order will also get you a 10% discount from now until September 27.
