New Destiny 2 Season Of The Hunt Trailer Preps Guardians For War (2)

With players now experiencing all of the new content in Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Bungie has decided to reveal more about the next season. In the brand new Season of the Hunt YouTube trailer, we witness the arrival of the Hive God of War, Xivu Arath, in Destiny 2. With it comes an important question, is there anything or anyone else that the Darkness is speaking to? Of course, with the Darkness finally arriving to counter the Light of the Traveler, things are about to get messy.

The introduction of Xivu Arath has certainly messed up the status quo. She is looking to consolidate her power with the help of the Darkness, and we are certainly standing in her way. With such a big threat looming, Osiris has enlisted the help of the Guardians once again. You will not have to stand up against this threat alone, of course. The Crow is here to help. That is, if you can get past the fact that this is Uldren Sov, the baddie who basically wiped Cayde-6 off the face of the universe as part of the Forsaken expansion. Somehow, he is suffering from amnesia, and we will just have to see how all of this pans out.

More meat to chow on

As part of Destiny 2: Season of the Hunt, there will be more content for players to blow through. Hive shrines will appear throughout the various public locations. The Spider has a particular interest in seeing these being dealt with, so you know where to get your rewards. The new season will also have more Exotic weapons added into the mix. Players can expect the return of the Hawkmoon hand cannon and the Duality shotgun.
