Destiny 2: Season of the Lost – Aligning the beacons in Shattered Realm: Ruins of Wrath
Once you spawn in the Shattered Realm: Ruins of Wrath, you’ll see that the doorway to your left is open. This region is crawling with Hive. As the Drifter says, “Bring a sword!”
Beacon #1: The Staging Ground
The first beacon in the Staging Ground is actually right in front of you situated in an open area. You can’t miss it.
Interact with it to make Hive ships appear. You’ll fight several Acolytes and Knights (boomers and swords). Then, the portal will open, spawning additional mobs like Wizards and Ogres. Near the end of this phase, you’ll have to eliminate an Unstoppable Ogre, too.
Beacon #2: The Field of Promised Ruin
You should see the beam of light further ahead. You’ll cross some floating rocks to get to it. Because a Field of Strife is active here, you won’t be able to jump or sprint. But, if you’re using a sword, you can use those swings to traverse gaps with ease.
Once you activate the beacon, you’ll fight additional Hive enemies. You’ve got more Acolytes, Wizards, and Knights, as well as a Shrieker. The last one you need to beat down is a Barrier Knight.
