It's the annual grind.

Eva Levante’s goodies

Recommended Videos

Everyone’s favorite event grandma has loads of goodies for you in Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer‘s Solstice of Heroes.

The Compass Rose shotgun

After clearing the EAZ for the first time, you’ll be given the Compass Rose shotgun. This is a Solar Precision Frame shotgun that fires pellets (akin to Dust Rock Blues or Retold Tale).

As of now, I’m not entirely sure if the first Compass Rose drop that you get has random rolls. However, you’ll be able to acquire more of this weapon later once you complete the “Nadir to Apex (Part III)” quest. It requires you to finish your objectives for the Renewed Solstice Armor set. You’ll then be able to get an upgrade from Eva that allows Solstice Packages to sometimes drop the Compass Rose.

Your other Solstice Armor pieces

Also after your first EAZ run, Eva will tell you to meditate in front of the statue next to her. This will net you the remaining Renewed Solstice Armor pieces. From this point onwards, you’ll be able to do various tasks related to each piece (we’ll discuss these in a bit).

Bounties

Eva also has several bounties. The weekly bounties provide Solstice Key Fragments, XP, Bright Dust, and Glimmer. Meanwhile, the daily and additional bounties give you Solstice Key Fragments and XP only.

Vendor upgrades and Armor Accelerators

As mentioned earlier, Eva has some unlockable upgrades (i.e., the Compass Rose from Solstice Packages). Other upgrades give your Solstice Packages a chance to drop superior Solstice Armor (Tier II) and those with higher stats once you’ve progressed further in the quest chain.

Perhaps the most important upgrades are the Armor Accelerators. These speed up your means of completing objectives on your alts. They do require you to obtain a full set of Solstice Armor for a particular tier first. It’s going to be quite a grind on your first character but, hopefully, you’ll be able to manage once you switch to your second and third characters.

Other rewards

These rewards require you to complete an associated triumph:

  • “Magnificent Zenith” triumph: Obtain Magnificent Solstice Armor – You can get the Solstice 2021 t-shirt code so you can purchase it for a fair price in Bungie’s shop. With the code, the shirt will cost $25. Without it, well, let’s just say it’s a hefty sum.
  • “Partially Resplendent” triumph: Acquire the white glow for a Magnificent Solstice Armor set for any class – The Brightest Stars emblem.
  • “Cosmically Resplendent” triumph: Acquire the white glow for all Magnificent Solstice Armor sets for all classes – Filigree of Light exotic ghost shell.

All right, let’s talk about the Solstice Armor set objectives. You can check out the remaining parts of our guide regarding the Hunter, Titan, and Warlock sets.
