Square Enix has registered a new trademark involving the Deus Ex franchise.According to Siliconera, the publishers has filed trademarks in Europe and the US for Deus Ex: Human Revolution.The next entry in the franchise will apparently be a prequel, set 25 years before the events of the first game in 2027. The protagonist, Adam Jensen, is a security guard at a firm which develops biomechanical augmentations, the precursor to Deus Ex’s nanotechnology.So far, only a PC version has been confirmed.
