Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided cyber-delayed to August

Originally scheduled for a release in February next year, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has now been delayed until August. The six month push has been announced on the game’s official site.

Eidos Montreal’s David Anfossi makes the expected comments in his statement, suggesting these extra months are for “more time in post-production for tuning, iterations, and refinement to meet our high standards”. Hard to argue with that really, as it’ll be better to have a properly finished Deus Ex: Mankind Divided than a slightly wonky one.

“I know that expectations are extremely high, and we want to not only meet those expectations, but exceed them,” Anfossi adds. “We are sorry to disappoint you with this news”.

The game’s new release date is 23 August.
