It’s been a long time coming buy it’s finally here, the Diablo 3 2.0.1 update for all Diablo 3 players.

After yesterday’s shut down of the Reaper of Souls beta test, Blizzard has quickly deployed this important update which brings the original game up to speed with many of the changes that were made in expansion beta test.

Players can now enjoy the new Pools of Reflection for XP bonuses, the Nephalim Glory buff on monster kills, new hero stats, and more. In fact there are so many changes to the game in this update it really does reshape it into something quite different.

It’s going to be interesting to see how the updates are received by players who have not taken part in the ROS beta test. Will this update completely revitalise the game?

Next month the game will change again when the auction house finally closes down and then we’ll really see a new chapter begin for the game.

You can read the full and lengthy patch notes over at Diablo: IncGamers which is your source for everything Diablo related.
