The demo includes the first three missions of the game they can be tackled as either Empress Emily Kaldwin or the royal protector, Corvo Attano.

If you like what you see, then the demo can be upgraded to the full game and there’s a 50% discount for a limited time. All demo progress will be saved and carried over to the full game.

This would be a good time to try the game as it was dogged by terrible performance issues on the PC. After each patch there Bethesda claimed that issues had been resolved but by all accounts, it’s still suffering from issues like stuttering and dropped framerates. If you didn’t want to take the risk when it was released try the demo and see if it runs okay on your rig.

The demo is available on the Dishonored 2 Steam page via a button on the right of the page.
