Dishonored urges revenge in debut trailer [Video]

I’ve got a feeling that Dishonored may just tap quite neatly into the current sense of (at best) antipathy towards the upper classes. Arkane and Bethesda have just released the debut trailer for the game, which shows our unjustly imprisoned hero Corvo escaping and finding a few aristocratic necks to slice.
Life in Dishonored-world isn’t great for the proletariat either, who seem to spend their time either being eaten by rats or flamethrowered to death by the military police.
Sadly, this video is all pre-rendered, so there’s no genuine gameplay on offer. It does, however, give a neat taster of the atmosphere and tone. We’ll get to see whether the gameplay lives up to promises of a return to Thief/Dark Messiah-esque titles at a later date, no doubt.
Dishonored is coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 later this year.
