Developer id software and publisher Bethesda Softworks must be really happy with DOOM’s accomplishments across every available platform, with SteamSpy, a popular website that publishes video game stats taken directly from the Steam platform, announcing that DOOM has just surpassed 2 million copies sold on Steam.

This number shouldn’t surprise anyone though, since the game had really positive reviews by the press and great feedback from the community. DOOM is a reboot of the franchise and the first major installment since Doom 3.
