DOTA 2 Alert: there’s a new phishing scam out there

Do you play DOTA 2 or know someone who does? You need to know there’s a new scam out there after your account info.

As usual, everything about the scammers seem legit, but they will ask for your Steam username and password, and as per Steam rules, you should not ever give out your password.

The site in question is called steamonlinereward(dot)webs(dot)com, but be forewarned, their promise of Steam Online Rewards is empty.

As always, you’ll want to be directed by Steam’s own account security guide.
