TIC, or The International Compendium, serves as a ticket for the upcoming DOTA 2 esports championships, with 1/4 of each compendium sold going to the prize pool. Last year, fans raised $ 11 million for prize money, and this year, Valve is anticipating more.

Every time fans raise a few million, compendium owners get a reward. At $ 3.5 million, they already get compendium coins, cursor pack, all-star vote, immortal treasure 1, and arcana vote. They have set rewards for as high as $ 15 million.
