Bioware has shared details on their next patch for Dragon Age: Inquisition.
For the most part, Dragon Age was not saddled with the heavy bugs notoriously found in Driveclub or Assassin’s Creed Unity upon release. However, the game was not without its issues, and Bioware wants to address them immediately, before posting new content.
These are the main points for the coming update:
- Stability – Various crashes, freezes, audio/voice glitches, and many stability improvements.
- Gameplay – Conversations, quests, plot states, combat, UI, camera, controls, follower/enemy AI and path finding, exploits, radar, and search.
- Multiplayer – In addition to some of the gameplay improvements listed above, multiplayer fixes also cover areas such as animations, game mode bugs, stat reporting, and stability/crash fixes.
- PC – Numerous control & UI fixes, fixes to some hitching, improved Mantle performance, graphical glitches.
For the patch after this, Bioware hopes to improve keyboard and mouse controls, and reenable banter so that fans can play it as it was intended to be played.
