Dragon Ball FighterZ

Dragon Ball FighterZ has been officially announced, bringing Goku and his chums to the PC in a 2D fighting game.

Dragon Ball fighting games aren’t anything particularly new, but in this case there are a few bits of note. For one, it’s being developed by Arc System Works, who generally only make utterly superb and highly technical fighting games. For another, it’s a side-on three-on-three fighter, presumably working in a fashion akin to Marvel vs Capcom with characters being tagged in and out, and probably having some sort of combo attacks.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is due out in 2018, via Steam, and you can have a look at the trailer below. But will it be any good? Find out on the next episode of Dragon… er, never mind!

Tim McDonald
Tim has been playing PC games for longer than he's willing to admit. He's written for a number of publications, but has been with PC Invasion - in all its various incarnations - for over a decade. When not writing about games, Tim can occasionally be found speedrunning terrible ones, making people angry in Dota 2, or playing something obscure and random. He's also weirdly proud of his status as (probably) the Isle of Man's only professional games journalist.
