Dragon Commander announced by Divinity II devs

Larian Studios, of Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga fame, has revealed the next title from the Divinity universe: Dragon Commander.
In it, you will … well, command some dragons. Larian is promising “massive dragon combat, epic turn-based strategy and immersive role-playing” which are three things I wholeheartedly approve of.
You’ll be played as one of the first Dragon Knights (so this will be taking place before the events of Divinity II) and using engineers, wizards and dragons to help you secure the empire under your rule.
As you can see in the debut trailer (below), giant floating fortresses will be involved too.
Game Director Swen Vincke certainly seems excited, saying “The new game blends together our favorite genres and themes, something that is not easy – but the resulting gameplay experience is very rewarding, and it’s also a lot of fun to make”.
Dragon Commander will be released in 2012, for PC and “consoles”.
