How to dye clothes and rework paraglider in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Look your sharpest while out adventuring.
Tears Of The Kingdom Sayge

Those who loved customizing their looks in Breath of the Wild likely made use of Sayge’s dye shop more than once. Residing in Hateno Village on the eastern side of Hyrule, Sayge allowed players to embellish their hard-earned clothes with a wide variety of color palettes. As you might imagine, Sayge is back in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and mostly runs his dye shop as he did before. However, he now has a secondary function in that he lets players customize Link’s paraglider as well. If you wish to learn how you can dye your clothes and change your paraglider designs in Tears of the Kingdom, you have come to the right place.

The dyeing feature functions exactly the same as it did in Breath of the Wild, so veterans should know what to do here. Once you confirm with Sayge that you want to dye your outfit, he will ask if you would like to change it before starting. He will then provide a selection of colors for you to choose before asking you to give five ingredients from your inventory. You can only pick from a specific set of ingredients depending on the color, so make sure to pick up plenty of different items before using this feature.

Customizing the paraglider in Tears of the Kingdom

As for changing the paraglider, you can select from a variety of fabrics that you can collect throughout the game. At first, he will give you the Cece fabric right out of the gate, but you obtain others through opening certain chests, completing quests, and other methods. Additionally, Sayge can make new fabric designs if you provide him with a photo of a specific enemy type. He can do this only after you finish the Photographing a Chuchu sidequest, which only becomes available after you customize your paraglider for the first time. After that, he will provide a list of other fabrics you can obtain through this method.

By customizing your dye colors and your paraglider in Tears of the Kingdom, you can make your adventure that little bit more visually interesting. Even with the world in danger, you can still afford to indulge yourself a little.
