Dying Light 2: Garrison Electrical Station guide (Broadcast mission)

Time to electrify!

Garrison Electrical Station is one of the facilities that you’ll visit during Dying Light 2‘s campaign. Once inside, you’ll see a more complex puzzle involving power cables. Here’s our Dying Light 2 guide to help you with the Garrison Electrical Station puzzle in the Broadcast mission.

Note: For more information, check out our Dying Light 2 guides and features hub. You can also visit our main guide for the Electrical Stations and Water Towers in the game. Lastly, please be reminded that there was a major “infinite loop” bug related to the Broadcast mission in Dying Light 2. It should be fixed in time for the game’s release. However, I would also encourage you to avoid fast traveling or exiting the game just in case.

Terminal A and B

Upon entering Garrison Electrical Station in Dying Light 2, you’ll see Cable A/B that’s green (that means the cable here works for both the A and B red terminals). Hook it up to Terminal A and push the button to open the door. Grab it again and do the same for Terminal B so you can enter the complex.

Terminal C

Look for passageways and walkways that will allow you to reach Cable 1/C. You don’t need to plug it into Terminal 1 down below right now.

Instead, cross the gap and bring it to Terminal C. This will allow you to open a nearby metal gate that’s marked with C.

Terminal 2 and the Inhibitor

Inside this room, you’ll find Cable 2. Don’t bother with that yet. For now, check the room for a note with the safe combination. The clue is the approximate number of pi.

Interact with the safe and use “3-1-4” to pick up the Inhibitor.

Next, pull Cable 2 and drop down to the watery area below to plug it in Terminal 2. This will cause the water to electrocute you if you wade in, so try to avoid that.

To reach the exit, simply put your back against Terminal 2 and look to your right. You should find a ventilation shaft that takes you around the basement.

Terminal 1 and the Control Room

Once you’re out of there, go ahead and disconnect Cable 1/C, and plug that into Terminal 1. The elevator should now be powered up, so ride it to the control room.

Remember to pick up all the loot you’ve left behind, or it’ll disappear once you press the switch.

Moreover, be prepared for a fight. Once you press that button, several Renegade mobs will appear. Defeat them so you can assign the facility to a faction.

You’re not done yet as you still need to go through the entirety of the Broadcast mission. Soon, you’ll receive the Grappling Hook.
