Dying Light 2 Houndfield Electrical Station Guide

Dying Light 2: Houndfield Electrical Station guide

Err, electrify, again!

Houndfield Electrical Station is, technically, the first facility of its kind that you’ll encounter in Dying Light 2. It’s part of a quest called Sniper’s Alley, though you don’t actually get to visit the interior to power up the complex. Still, you can do this much later while free-roaming and after learning about the other facilities in the campaign. Here’s our Dying Light 2 guide to help you with the Houndfield Electrical Station puzzle so you can assign this facility to a faction of your choosing.

You can revisit Houndfield Electrical Station in Dying Light 2 assuming you’ve progressed further in the campaign. Make your way to the second-floor landing to find that the windows have been smashed. You should then be able to enter the building proper.

Cable 1 and Terminal 1

Inside, check the layout of the building. You should see Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at the bottommost floor. For Terminal 1, use the monkey bars and metal beam to reach the opposite side. Try opening gates and checking the hallways here.

Eventually, you should see a passage from underneath that lets you open a room with Cable 1. Go ahead and grab that, then bring it all the way to Terminal 1.

Cable 1 and Terminal 2

You’ll find Cable 2 on the fourth floor of the building. To reach it, climb higher until you can make a running jump that lets Aiden grab hold of the metal crate. Swing back and forth until you’re able to reach the concrete slabs jutting out of the wall.

Next, look around for any bars or objects that you can use. You should be able to cross the gap to get to Cable 2.

Terminal 2, as mentioned, is all the way down below. Because Cable 2 is fairly short, you can jump down (make sure that you hit the garbage bags to break your fall). Charge it up and go ride the elevator to the control room.

As usual, make sure you pick up all the loot before activating the switch. Then, assign the facility to a faction of your choosing. This completes the Houndfield Electrical Station puzzle in Dying Light 2.

Lastly, there is an Inhibitor container in the vicinity, but in the river well outside the building. You’ve probably picked it up already while doing the Sniper’s Alley quest.
