EA Will Publish Shank And DeathSpank

DeathSpank and Shank will be released on multiple platforms later this year, with gaming giant EA taking the publishing rights.Shank, developed by Klei Entertainment, is a Western side-scrolling fighting game and will come to PC, PS3 and 360, while Ron Gilbert’s DeathSpank will now only make an appearance on the consoles, with no PC port or version currently planned. It’s DeathSpank we’re most interested by, and coming from the man behind Monkey Island, we’re hoping that it’ll be something quite special. We spoke to Mr. Gilbert when we first heard the news about DeathSpank a wee while back, and you can see what he had to say here. Both games will be distributed digitally, with no plans for retail release at this time.
