The latest trailer for Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge, featuring the curious oval-ball coverting sport, has an awful lot of gameplay to show.
It genuinely does. You see more in this two minutes or so of footage than most ‘gameplay’ trailers will offer over a four-part series. Here, we get an idea of how kicking, line-outs and scrums will all work; complete with their own mini-game-ish mechanics.
The only visual disappointment is the obvious switch to a new animation that triggers when sprinting players are tackled, but that’s probably not a huge issue.
Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge is coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, most likely around the time of the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
