Let’s talk about the secret locations and instances that you can discover in the Limgrave region of Elden Ring.

Roderika/Stormhill Shack

To be fair, Roderika’s location isn’t really a big secret in Elden Ring. That’s because you’ll likely stumble upon her lodgings as you’re progressing through the campaign. However, she’ll disappear after you’ve spoken with her and, as far as I can tell, once you’ve defeated Margit the Fell Omen. Don’t worry because you’ll see her again in the Roundtable hub. In her house, she’ll leave behind a Golden Seed used to increase your flask’s charges.

Alexander the Living Jar

From Saintsbridge, follow the road west until you hear someone asking for help. Climb the cliffside to see a large Living Jar that’s gotten stuck. Agree to help the poor fella and use a charged/heavy attack to free him. He introduces himself as Alexander, and you’ll receive the Triumphant Delight emote and Exalted Flesh.

Warmaster’s Shack and Ball Bearing Hunter

Continue along the Saintsbridge road going southwest past the camp. You’ll eventually see the Warmaster’s Shack where Knight Bernahl resides. You can purchase a lot of Ashes of War weapon skills from him, making him a very useful NPC. However, there’s one particular secret in Elden Ring that will happen in this spot.

First, fast travel to a different location and use the Site of Grace to pass the time until it’s night. Then, teleport back to Warmaster’s Shack. Knight Bernahl will no longer be there. Instead, you’ll see a Ball Bearing Hunter.

Kill this foe and you’ll receive the Bone Peddler’s Ball Bearing. This can be given to the Husk in the Roundtable to see more items for sale, such as Smithing Stones.

The statue near the Trolls and the Deathbird

From the Warmaster’s Shack, climb the rubble until you reach the top of the hill. You’ll see several Trolls roaming around. If you aggro them and wait near the statue, they’ll destroy it, allowing you to pick up several Smithing Stones.

Likewise, the Deathbird miniboss will spawn at the ruins here when it’s night. Once defeated, it will drop the Blue-Feathered Branchsword, a talisman that raises your defense when your HP is low.

Recusant Henricus

From the Warmaster’s Shack, follow the path north until you see the abandoned colosseum. Shortly thereafter, an NPC invader named Recusant Henricus will spawn. Defeat him to receive a Furcalling Finger Remedy and Hammer Talisman (enhances your stamina-reducing attacks against blockers). The colosseum also has a Duelist’s Furled Finger if you want to challenge a multiplayer host to a fight.

Knight with Ash of War: Golden Vow

Head southeast to a plateau overlooking the valley below. There’s a mounted knight here that drops the Ash of War: Golden Vow weapon skill.

Zombie-turned-bear and Larval Tear

From Agheel Lake South, head to the nearby ruins/carved tombstones on the cliffside. You should see several zombies, but one is hanging out on its own. Once you kill it, it will suddenly transform into a monstrous bear. Eliminate this beast to earn a Larval Tear, a very rare item used to respec your attributes. You can learn more in our Larval Tear/respec guide.

Note: All right, that about does it for our Elden Ring Limgrave secrets and dungeons guide. I’ll keep this article updated in case I found out more. Have fun exploring, Tarnished!
