The Creative Assembly has confirmed it will be releasing 11 new units in the upcoming patch.
Speaking to IncGamers, a spokesperson for The Creative Assembly clarified that only one unit will be wholly new, and that unit being the Russian Grenadier.
The other 10 units will effectively replace existing units to “increase variety”. This increase in variety isn’t only about the art of the units, but each unit will also see a change in attributes, stats and functionality in order to better represent the faction it denotes.
Although the Russian Grenadier will be the only true “new unit”, the increase in functionality, as well as the new artwork to represent the faction and units more authentically, will not have an affect on the actual time to fix the bugs in the game.
It’s also important to note that these units are completely different to the Special Forces units, and will replace current units in certain factions.
