The team behind the sci-fi MMO EVE Online has just opened a new office in Newcastle, England.

This is the company’s first office in the UK according to gameindustry, a good sign in the current financial climate. Much of the team has come across from the old Midway Studios office, and they’re tipped to be working on current and future console titles.
As revealed last year, the EVE Online spin-off, DUST 514, will be a console shooter game set in the EVE universe. It’s been in development for over three years, the main focus of CCP’s Shanghai development studio. Find out more about the game in our earlier news item, along with the first trailer.
