Dominion is the 12th free expansion for EVE, and changes the way in which territory is captured and held. Players can expect more active battles instead of the prolonged siege battles we saw in the past. A number of game mechanics have been changed too, including the Doomsday devices on Titan class ships, which now deliver a devastating blow to a single target.

“Our goal for EVE is to maximize human interaction and then leverage it to make a more meaningful, interesting game. Dominion was designed to give players more tools to mold their experience with better means of communication and extra rounds of ammunition. Undoubtedly, the compelling intrigue we’ve seen in EVE will never end as pilots fight to bend the universe to their will.”

Two new epic mission arcs have also become available involving a couple of infamous pirate factions, The Guristas and the Angel Cartel. The graphics of EVE have had a major overhaul as well, bringing planets and stars to life like never before.

Be sure to watch the trailer for Dominion which was released recently, and drop in on the official site for more info.
