Rockfish has been working on their rogue-like action space shooter Everspace for a few years and it’s almost ready for launch.

Everspace releases on 26 May, that’s next Friday, and ahead of the release, there’s a new trailer. The news from Rockfish is that the game will launch with full VR support, the voice-acted story, cinematic flashbacks, and cutscenes. Although Everspace has been solid in Early Access, these missing features are really needed to pull it all together. Also ready at launch is an all-new boss fight staged in the completely revamped final sector.

We’ve been playing the game on and off for a while and it’s definitely one to watch out for next week. It is available now on Steam.
