Expeditions: Conquistador uncovers large patch

Expeditions: Conquistador

Peter liked Expeditions: Conquistador. He liked its turn-based combat, he liked its multiple-choice quests, he liked its varied party members. He wasn’t, however, such a big fan of a number of problems, finishing off his review with “In short, Conquistador is a great strategy-RPG hybrid that’s a patch or two away from being an exceptional one.”

Rejoice, Mr. Parrish, for the game has been patched up to version 1.4.

You can take a look at the full patch notes here, but I’ve got a few highlights for you. Like, ooh, some updated graphical features like dynamic lighting and a bit of “subtle bloom”. And a bunch of new quests and events that add another 3500 words to the game. And 30 placeholder events for Mexico, so that modders can more easily add new content. And lots of bug fixes. And Italian localisation. And… look, just go and read the changelog.
