Activision has officially lifted the lid on the brand new four-player co-op mode that’s going to be included in the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts. Some of you may have noticed that the mode in question, or ‘Extinction’ as it’s being called, was leaked all over the internet over the weekend.
Extinction is “an all-new 1-4 player cooperative game mode featuring a unique blend of fast-paced survival action, FPS base defense, scavenging and class leveling”.
What are you expected to do in this new mode? Well the trailer [below] suggests that you’ll be working as a team to drill into an alien nest, while you hold off hordes of four-legged aliens. You’ll be able to set up defenses like turrets, to aid you in completing your mission.
Call of Duty: Ghosts launches on 5th November, 2013 on current gen consoles before releasing as launch titles for both the XboxOne, and PlayStation 4.
