Fallout: New Vegas Beaten In Less Than 20 minutes

If I remember right, I think I needed approximately 35 to 40 hours to complete Fallout: New Vegas. If  I compare these hours to the new world speed run record of 19 minutes and 48 seconds, I will start questioning my skills as a gamer (and my whole life in general).

Late last year KungKobra managed to complete Fallout: New Vegas in 20 minutes and 47 seconds, which was already crazy fast. Four months later, the same speedrunner decided to break his previous record and he completed the same game in 19 minutes and 48 seconds. The best thing about it? He thinks that there’s still room to improve the Any% run.

If you’re interested in watching speedruns (or if you’re a speedrunner yourself), you should definitely read KungKobra’s documentation after watching the video below.

“I glitched my movement speed by loading a save at the exact moment my legs got crippled/ This causes the game to add the slow crippled speed (roughly 52%) on top of the regular (100%) speed, allowing me to walk at an accelerated pace. This trick is difficult and inconsistent, so I will most likely restart my runs trying to get the glitch.”
