Fallout: New Vegas, Developer Diary #1 – The Story

Obsidian has released the first in what will presumably be a sequence of developer video diaries, discussing the role of story in Fallout: New Vegas.
Feargus Urquhart, Chris Avellone, Josh Sawyer and others from the Obsidian team offer capsule comments about the narrative approach of New Vegas, and how the opening few scenes differ dramatically from those in Fallout 3 (minor spoilers abound here, so beware.) We also get a brief look at a bit more in-game footage, particularly close-ups of some of the game’s characters.
Fallout: New Vegas is scheduled for a 19 October release in North America and 22 October release in Europe, on PS3, PC and Xbox 360. Use your eyes to search the Mojave Desert for the video (or just look below.)
