Family ties: appear in Crusader Kings II

Paradox is on the hunt for surnames with interesting tales behind them, to include in the forthcoming Crusader Kings II.
To stand a chance of being featured, hop over to the relevant forum thread (link below, you may need to register) and post your surname, along with its origin and story. It doesn’t have to be true of course, so you’re free to turn your boring roots into swashbuckling tales of daring do, or a succession of feckless boozers.
However you spin it, you’ll need to do so before 31 October, when the entries will no longer be considered.
Crusader Kings II is due for release in early 2012, on the PC.
