UbiSoft is ready to reveal the Far Cry 5 PC system requirements today ahead of its launch on 27 March which is still some way off.
Overall, the requirements are not too bad at all minimum and recommended specs should not be a problem for most PC gamers. If you want it to whack it up to 4K and run at 60 FPS then that might be a little trickier.
Kirill Bragin, PC Version Producer on Far Cry 5 is keen that you know the PC version is important to Ubi adding, “PC has always been a key element of Far Cry’s DNA, and this couldn’t be truer with Far Cry 5”.
The game will have a benchmark feature, and aspect ration, FOV, FPS locking and resolution scaling can all be tinkered with. For those that can’t be bothered to tinker with setteings, Bragin added, “The game will auto-detect the user’s hardware and will set the matching quality preset and resolution.”
