Far Cry 6 Yaran Contraband guide: How to get the Crackle & Pop unique machine gun in El Rayo Cinema

One thing you have to consider when trying to get the Crackle & Pop unique machine gun in Far Cry 6 is that you’re going back to Esperanza. The soldiers here are tougher and at a higher level than you are. Many of them are also heavily armored, so you might want to use the best weapons and mods to take them out quickly.

Another factor is that Esperanza is a no-fly zone. You’ll need to reach it while riding a land vehicle or a mount. If you’re on a flying craft once you enter its airspace, you’ll get blown to bits.

As an aside, you don’t actually need to head to Esperanza while free-roaming early in your adventure. In fact, you could opt to wait until you receive an operation/main mission in Far Cry 6 called “Paradise Lost.” In it, you’re asked to infiltrate the capital to plant explosives at military checkpoints. You’ll also be able to enter sewers and pass through alleyways until you reach the main square. Here, you’ll find an unmanned tank and the El Rayo Cinema right across the street. You can see it in the image above.

Go ahead and take a look at the scaffoldings, ladders, and grapple points here. You should be able to find a way to reach the rooftop. There, you’ll spot a Yaran Contraband chest. Open it to claim the Crackle & Pop unique machine gun in Far Cry 6.

Here are the Crackle & Pop’s mods:

  • Blast Rounds – Deals damage in an area; effective against vehicles.
  • Specter Sight – 2x mid-range sight.
  • Fast Reload – Increased reload speed.
  • Headshot Supremo – Headshot kills grant extra Supremo energy.

Personally, I think the Crackle & Pop is one of the more viable unique weapons you can obtain in Far Cry 6. Primarily, it’s due to the huge magazine size and the Blast Rounds mod that’s already slotted in. You can easily destroy helicopters within seconds.

Note: Since you’re in Esperanza, I suggest exploring a bit to find other unique weapons like the Pistola Sportiva sidearm, El Rubi shotgun, Zona 51 rifle, and Urushi rifle.
