The nation of Yara is filled with countless armaments for warfare, including unique weapons. The Zona 51 is one such example. Here’s our Far Cry 6 guide to help you get the Zona 51 unique rifle from a Yaran Contraband chest in Esperanza’s La Divinidad Cathedral.

Far Cry 6 Yaran Contraband guide: How to get the Zona 51 unique rifle in La Divinidad Cathedral
Like a few other unique weapons in Far Cry 6, you’ll find the Zona 51 unique rifle in Esperanza. Our goal here is to reach La Divinidad Cathedral in the eastern section of the capital. Of course, since this is Esperanza that we’re talking about, you can expect a lot of elite soldiers who are tougher and heavily armored. Try to bring ideal gear with you to make the challenge more manageable.
In any case, the Zona 51 unique rifle is inside a Yaran Contraband chest in the church’s bell tower. You can reach this by climbing up the ladders inside the building, or using the grapple points and ledges that are outside. I suggest doing the latter so you have a better vantage point and you’re not confined in cramped spaces. Also, you can open the door only if you have the keycard. Pick it up after killing the officer in the area, or take out all the troops to fully capture it. Once captured, La Divinidad Cathedral becomes a fast travel point, and you’ll receive the keycard automatically.
Anyway, here are the Zona 51’s mods:
- Incendiary Rounds – Deals fire damage in a small area; applies a damage-over-time effect.
- Red Dot Sight – Slightly zoomed short-range sight.
- Reload All – Reloading this weapon’s magazine also reloads all other weapons.
Note: Since you’re in Esperanza, I suggest exploring a bit to find other unique weapons like the Pistola Sportiva sidearm, El Rubi shotgun, Crackle & Pop machine gun, and Urushi auto rifle.
Far Cry 6 is available via Ubisoft’s store and the Epic Games Store.
