Fare thee well, the PSP is discontinued in Japan

Sony have announced that the PSP will be discontinued later this month in Japan only a few months before its 10th birthday. So far there has been no news on discontinuing the handheld in Latin America or other parts of Asia but it seems the days of the PSP are coming to a close. The PSP was first launched in Japan almost ten years ago on December 12th 2004. Although it was beaten in sales by the popular Nintendo DS, the PSP was still a successful console that shipped over 76.3 million units worldwide.

Good night, sweet prince.
