Good news for anyone wanting to kick a ball about in the latest installment.
It’s available now, football folks.
EA has announced that the FIFA 15 demo will be released on 9 September which they are touting as an Ignite Engine demo to see if your rig can handle it.
The FIFA 15 PC demo is a fantastic and free way to test out if your gaming rig has the right stuff. When the demo goes live, it doesn’t cost you a thing to check out the performance of the game on your gaming PC. What you experience in the FIFA 15 demo is just a sampling of the full FIFA 15 game, but it’s a perfect test of the Ignite Engine on your PC. Tweak the settings to get the most out of FIFA 15 on your gaming rig.
They are unclear about what exactly will be included but it will probably include a couple of teams to try and a time limit on games. That’s what’s usually included in the FIFA demos. Prior rumours have suggested the included teams will be Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Barcelona, Napoli, Paris Saint-Germain, Boca Juniors and Borussia Dortmund.
We’ll let you know as soon as the demo is actually live.
Update: Here are the previously released minimum PC specs for the demo, in case you’re curious about that.

- CPU: Intel Q6600 Core2 Quad @ 2.4Ghz
- RAM: 4GB
- Hard Drive Space Required: 15.0 GB
- Minimum Supported Video Cards: ATI Radeon HD 5770, NVIDIA GTX 650

Update 2: The latest from EA (as of a couple of hours back) is that the demo will be on Origin “later today.”
