The FIFA 15 top 50 player countdown has concluded today, with the not-too-surprising conclusion that Lionel Messi is quite good at football. According to the FIFA 15 people who figure this stuff out, Messi is a slightly better footballer than Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, if it was a fashion-based list, or something to do with skin care, I think Ronaldo would probably win.
Those are your top two players of FIFA 15. Professional footballer and part-time diver Arjen Robben his worked his way up to third place this year, followed in fourth position by the always entertaining Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Zlatan, then, will presumably be winning all of the headers in this edition of the game too.
In fifth it’s excitable sweeper-keeper Manuel Neuer, while a rubbish World Cup apparently hasn’t lowered to stock of Andres Iniesta. He’s at number six.
Hungry, hungry Luis Suarez is in seventh place, Univision commentary favourite Bastian Schweinsteiger is in eighth, Franck Ribery is at nine (hmm, not sure about that one) and cover star Eden Hazard was probably contractually bound to at least appear in his position as tenth best player of FIFA 15.
That’s your lot. FIFA 15 is coming out on 23 September in the US and a couple of days later in Europe and the UK.
