Former FIFA cover star and IncGamers erotic fan-fiction favourite (don’t ask) Gareth Bale is among the latest ten players revealed in the FIFA 15 top 50. This is the penultimate set, listing numbers 20-11 in the overall standings.
Welsh wonder Bale is at number 14, with Manchester City’s Vincent Kompany holding the 20th spot. A pair of Manchester United strikers, Falcao and Robin van Persie sit at 12 and 11 respectively. Between them, they might even have a full set of functioning knees.
A golden pair of Silvas, David and Thiago, occupy numbers 17 and 16. While German players Robert Lewandowski and Philipp Lahm appear at number 19 and number 13.
Luka Modric will be attempting to control the midfield from his position as 18th best player in FIFA 15, and Sergio Ramos should be absolutely delighted at his ranking of 15. I’m not sure whether even some Real Madrid fans would put him that high.
The final set of players, that all-important top ten, will be revealed tomorrow. Check back here on Sunday for that, assuming I’m awake at the right time and paying attention.
FIFA 15 will be released on 23 September in the US. Europe and the UK will have to wait a few days more (25/26) because it’s one of those weird games that isn’t doing a unified global release.
