Beloved MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV’s newest expansion, Endwalker, releases on Tuesday, December 7. As expected, there are numerous additions in Endwalker, including new jobs, areas, dungeons, raids, and more, along with the epic conclusion to Final Fantasy XIV’s current story. It’s a lot, so today we’re sharing everything you need to know about Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker.

What time does Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker launch?

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. An official time of release has not yet been announced. When this time has been revealed, will update this post.

Endwalker’s Early Access period, which began on December 3, has been plagued by excessive login queues often fraught with disconnects. As it’s very likely the server congestion and login issues will persist through launch, it’s best to try and log in as soon as possible on December 7 to secure your spot in the queue.

How do I activate my Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker key?

For PC and Steam players, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker registration keys must be redeemed through Square Enix’s Mog Station website. It’s important to note that Windows PC and Steam versions are considered different platforms when it comes to registering your product codes. If you have created your Final Fantasy XIV account in the Steam version of the game, you must purchase the Steam version of Endwalker to continue playing on this account.

If you’ve pre-ordered the game, you can add your Endwalker Pre-Purchase Bonus Content key, which grants your character the pre-order bonuses along with Early Access to Endwalker, as early as December 3. You will be unable to register your Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker registration code until December 7.

How to activate Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker on PC

To add Endwalker registration code to your Windows account, visit the Mog Station and select the large “Enter Expansion Registration Code” button in the “Registration Codes” section of the Service Account Dashboard.

How to activate Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker on Steam

For the Steam version of the game, you are still required to activate registration keys via the Mog Station website. After purchasing Endwalker, you can find your Steam codes by right-clicking on Final Fantasy XIV in your Steam Library, hovering over “Manage” in the dropdown menu and selecting, “CD Keys.” Simply copy any relevant Endwalker codes and head to the Mog Station to register.

Can my computer run Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker?

Windows and Steam players can download the Endwalker Official Benchmark software provided by Square Enix to get an idea of how well their system will be able to handle Endwalker with varying performance and quality settings. Here is what you need to know regarding system requirements for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker for Windows PC (including Steam):

How much storage space do I need for Endwalker?

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker for Windows and Steam requires at least 80 GB of available storage space. Black Friday and Cyber Monday may have passed, but there are still great deals available for storage if you’re in need of an upgrade.

What new jobs were added in Endwalker?

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker introduces two new jobs available to all players: Reaper and Sage. Reaper is a new Melee DPS job and Sage is a new Healer job. You can check out our previews of these jobs at the links below:

Endwalker concludes the epic storyline of Final Fantasy XIV that’s been told over the past 10 years — since the game’s release in 2010 — and introduces many new areas, dungeons, raids, a new housing district, and more. When does Endwalker’s Pandæmonium raid release?

Endwalker’s first major content update, patch 6.01, is scheduled to release on Tuesday, December 21. This patch is planned to include the Normal difficulty of the Pandæmonium raid. Patch 6.05 is scheduled for Tuesday, January 4, 2022, which will add Savage difficulty.
