Final Fantasy XIV - 19

I’m going to assume that the characters in the livestream will be wearing more clothing than this.

Square Enix have announced that there will be a livestream of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn‘s patch 2.2 this weekend.

The livestream – due to air on 25 January (this Saturday) at 4am PST (midday, GMT) – will be showing off some of the new content that the patch will contain. You’ll be able to get a look at the next Titan Battle, Leviathan; you’ll be able to see some of the Ruins of Amdapor, an upcoming dungeon; you’ll be able to see some of the new turns of the Binding Coil of Bahamut; and you’ll be able to see what sort of new cases Hildibrand will be getting up to.

The livestream will also feature producer/director Naoki Yoshida and assistant director Hiroshi Takai discussing game design and answering player-submitted questions. If you want to submit questions, you can do so over on the designated forum threads over here.

It’s worth noting that the audio will apparently be Japanese only, so I’m assuming there’ll be some sort of live translation going on. The actual URLs for the stream (which will be viewable on YouTube, Twitch, and Japanese video-sharing site Niconico) will be posted up nearer the time of the stream. Full details on the stream itself can be found on Final Fantasy XIV‘s official website.
