Final Fantasy XIV free trial changes to level cap

Final Fantasy XIV free trial changes to level cap

Final Fantasy XIV will soon be receiving a large content update with the Stormblood expansion so ahead of that Square are changing the way their free trial works.

Previously you could play the game for 14 days with no questions asked, but now the two week restriction has been removed, anyone can try the game for free right up to level 35. All existing trial accounts are also being reset and can be played up to the new level cap.

All the content is available up to the 35 cap and this change coincides with the final update for Heavansward with patch v3.56 (see patch notes).

The Stormblood expansion comes out on 20 June so now is as good a time as any to try the game out.
