Every year, Final Fantasy XIV holds an anniversary event called The Rising; this year will be no exception. As announced on twitter today, this year’s event will begin on 26 August.
Specifically, it’ll start at 8am (Pacific) and run until 14 September. The announcement is a brief one, so the times and dates are about all the information that’s available so far. It states to watch the Lodestone community site for more details.
If it’s like prior events, there will be seasonal event quests to pursue and items to acquire. Final Fantasy XIV will also be running a 14 hour broadcast in honour of their fourth anniversary. That takes place on 1 September.
