First Might & Magic: Duel of Champions championship kicks off 15 Nov.

Ubisoft and Razor have organised a first ‘world championship’ for players of Might & Magic: Duel of Champions (an online, free-to-play version of the ever so popular card game). The opening rounds will begin online on 15 November, but anybody who makes it through to the semi finals will get tickets to DreamHack 2012 in Sweden, where the final rounds will take place.

If you’re interested, you should get signed up relatively swiftly in this Ubisoft thread. Registrations close at midnight on 14 November (I’m assuming that means the evening of the 14 November, not the evening of 13 November).

For the four finalists who make it to Sweden, here’s what you’ll be playing for:

  • 1st place: 1 000 000 Gold (in-game currency), a complete set of Razer equipment (Headset: Tiamat 2.2, Keyboard: BlackWidow, Mouse: Taipan, Mousemat: Goliathus Standard Speed Edition, and T-shirt) and the title of DoC World Champion!
  • 2nd place: 500 000 Gold (in-game currency) and Razer goodies
  • 3rd place: 250 000 Gold (in-game currency)

Tim previewed the game for IncGamers back in July, and here’s what he had to say.
