Fortnite and Destiny 2 crossover adds new cosmetics and Guardian Zone Control mode

Bringing Guardians to the world of Fortnite.

Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 3 has introduced an array of new content with the roll out of regular updates. We have seen new and returning points of interest, a shake up to the loot pool, and so much more. As always, there have been plenty of crossovers including the recent addition of Dragon Ball Z content. This has seen the debut of two new mythic weapons, the ability to watch Dragon Ball Z Super Episodes in-game and challenges to complete. Now, a new crossover has arrived, which should catch the eye of Destiny 2 fans. The crossover adds some Destiny themed goodies to the Fortnite item shop and launched a new map and the Guardian Zone Control mode.

The Fortnite and Destiny 2 crossover features three skins. First up is Commander Zavala, whose skin will accompany the Targe Back Bling, Crown-Splitter Pickaxe, and a gray Sparrow Glider. Next, Ikora Rey has joined the store with the Ophiuchus Back Bling, Black Talon Pickaxe, and a purple Sparrow Glider. Last, but certainly not least, is the Exo Stranger, also known as Elisabeth Bray. With this outfit, you can get your hands on the Pouka Back Bling, Lament Pickaxe, and a black Sparrow Glider. Additionally, an Investigate emote joins the item shop, which will bring out a trusty Ghost which Guardians will be all too familiar with.

A map and mode Guardians may recognize

Apart from some Destiny 2 cosmetics, the Fortnite crossover has launched Guardian Zone Control: Javelin-4. This mode tasks you and your team with taking hold of control points. The more control points you posses, the higher your team’s score multiplier when taking down an opponent. The first team to make it to 200 score are awarded the win.

If you are a fan of the Fortnite and Destiny 2 crossover, grab your items and hop into the iconic Javelin-4 map before it’s too late.
