Fortnite Dirty Docks Safe Locations Guide

Fortnite guide: All five of the Dirty Docks safe locations with golden bars

Commerce contraband.

Epic Games has introduced a new in-game currency for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 that allows players to purchase and upgrade loot via NPC vendors. Therefore, it’s important for players to know how to gain as much of the new in-game currency as possible. There are many ways to earn golden bars, but safes offer the highest single yields of anything so far. Players who can manage to find a safe will be rewarded with 150 golden bars. In this guide, we’ll cover all five of the safe spawn locations that you can find scattered throughout Dirty Docks in Fortnite.

The first thing to know about these safes is that the spawn rates are very low. Seeing as they are never guaranteed, it’s best to just look for them as you go about normal looting. However, the spawn locations are often very convenient, so knowing where to check is worthwhile. Just note that some of the images look oddly placed, because we used a drone to capture them in-between walls for easy-to-interpret viewing angles.

If you find these fun to look for, you can find out where the safes spawn at all of the named locations on the Fortnite. Just head over to our Chapter 2 Season 5 guides and features hub and scroll down to the safe locations section. There are also plenty of other useful guides to help you along like walkthroughs on hidden secrets, detailed explanations on new gameplay mechanics like Quests and Bounties, and weekly challenges in Fortnite.

Dirty Docks Fortnite Guide Safe Locations

Every safe spawn location at Dirty Docks

Fortnite’s Dirty Docks is one of the decent locations you can land at if you’re interested in checking safe spawns. While it doesn’t feature a lot of spawns, it is one of the easier locations to check all of the spawns at. Not a lot of players land here, which means there’s a high likelihood that you’ll get to everything first. If you observe the above map, you’ll also see that there’s a fairly quick route you can follow that lets you bypass unknowing enemies. Moving from the north to the south end is clearly the best way to check these.

Land at the two story brick warehouse on the north end of Dirty Docks to begin. You’ll want to immediately drop down and check the main room on the ground floor. The safe can spawn on the back wall just next to the metal shelves. From there you can make a quick trip to the one by one building west and slightly south of the warehouse. This building is in the middle of a parking lot, and the second safe spawn is inside of it. You can’t miss it.

It’s another short trip to the next building where you can find the third safe spawn. If you look directly south from the one by one building, there’s another single floor structure above the retaining wall. Make your way up there and check inside.

The fourth safe spawn at Dirty Docks is at a small warehouse building in the midwest section of the location. Fortunately, it’s easy to sneak over to. Just wrap around the west side of the location and use the retaining wall to provide cover/concealment. The warehouse in question is two stories high, but very narrow. You’ll see some water processing equipment hooked up to it, so you know that’s the one. If you go inside and look around on the ground floor, you might find a safe. The spawn is on the north end of the building tucked up next to some equipment.

The fifth safe spawn is at the south warehouse past the cranes. It sits out by itself and is quite obvious. You may also recall that the Brutus NPC spawns inside. Head inside and search the small storage room on the west side of the building on the ground floor.
