How to get the Dragon’s Breath Sniper Rifle exotic weapon in Fortnite

Add some fire to your shots.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 has brought a range of exotic weapons into the game. You can purchase exotic weapons such as the Dub, the Shadow Tracker, the Boom Sniper Rifle, and more using gold bars. Now, a new exotic weapon has joined the collection. If you are a fan of sniper rifles, this may be the weapon for you. The Dragon’s Breath Sniper Rifle in Fortnite works in a similar way to the Dragon’s Breath Shotgun. It deals a high amount of damage, while leaving lasting damage by setting your enemy on fire.

To get access to the exotic weapon, you must get it from an NPC named Blaze. However, this particular NPC has two separate spawn locations, so hopefully you will get lucky. You will find Blaze at either Timber Tent which is to the South of Sweaty Sands, or at Pristine Point, between Craggy Cliffs and Steamy Stacks. Once you have found and interacted with Blaze, you will get access to the Dragon’s Breath Sniper Rifle. It is important to note, like other exotic weapons, it does come at a price. You will have to hand over 1,213 gold bars to get the rifle.

Getting those all important gold bars

If you do not have enough gold bars, there are many ways in which you can get your hands on them. Various areas of the map such as Lazy Lake have safes which you can find to get gold bars. Also, completing bounty contracts is another way to rack up your gold bars, while getting more kills in a match. You can learn more about every way to earn this currency by visiting our Chapter 2 Season 5 guides and features hub.

Exotic weapons have proven to be extremely popular in Fortnite, and it is likely that the Dragon’s Breath Sniper will get the same response. As the season progresses, Epic Games may continue to add more exotic weapons to the battle royale. From now on, watch out for a fiery shot coming your way.
